MARITA’S PHILOSOPHY

Marita is a firm believer that training a dog can and should be done successfully without causing pain or fear to the dog being trained. Positive-reinforcement methods are supported by science and help to change the behavior of our dogs with minimal side-effects and fallout. Likewise, she believes in treating every client with kindness and respect, and that no trainer should ask any client to use any method with their dog that makes them uncomfortable. Her training is a collaborative effort with owners to teach them the skills they need in order to teach their dog the behaviors and skills they wish for their dog to have throughout life.
